Meet your Hosts ~ Lesley & Chris:

Lesley and Chris offer you a warm welcome to Larch Hill Homestay/Bed & Breakfast in beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand. On arrival at our Bed and Breakfast, you will be welcomed with refreshments. Once you have settled in, relax in the courtyard garden, or take in the lake and mountain views from the sun-deck. In winter there is a roaring log fire awaiting your return from a days skiing or sightseeing.

Larch Hill Homestay/B&B is superb bed and breakfast accommodation in Queenstown. It is built on an elevated site overlooking the blue waters of Lake Wakatipu, surrounded by spectacular mountains which are snow capped in winter. Take in the Lake and Mountain views from the sun-deck.

We serve a generous continental breakfast including freshly baked croissants and Danish pastries, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals and homemade bread with tea and freshly percolated coffee.
At times, Lesley makes small changes to the breakfast table.

Our warm, comfortable B&B is only a 3 minute drive from the centre of Queenstown and is within walking distance of the lake. Public transport (bus) passes our street regularly.

We are proud New Zealanders who have travelled extensively, returning to our New Zealand roots after spending a number of years living and working overseas in Papua New Guinea, London and Brisbane. We love living in this stunning, very special part of the world.

Chris is a 5th-generation New Zealander. One of his ancestors had a gold claim at Arrow Junction, near Queenstown, in the 1800s. We both grew up in Dunedin (3 ½ hours drive from Queenstown) and moved to Queenstown some years ago.

Lesley’s Scottish parents emigrated to Dunedin from Turkey (where they lived for some years) when she was a child. Queenstown soon became the family’s second home.

Most of you will have travelled for many hours to get here, and it may be some time before you can return, so we will do our very best to help you get the most out of your visit to Queenstown. Feel free to use our local knowledge to help plan your itinerary or visit our Activities page for ideas.
